Food Philippines at NOPE 2017

London, United Kingdom – The Philippines participated at the Natural and Organic Products Europe on 2-3 April at ExCel London. NOPE is the the biggest natural products show in the UK and the number one organic event in the EU.

The Philippine Pavilion will showcase the best of the island’s naturally-grown and organically-certified products. Under the industry banner Food Philippines, new products from coconut, indigenous herbs and heirloom rice from the Philippines were included in the exhibition (more…)

PTIC London at PH Tourism Weekend

London, United Kingdom – The Philippine Department of Tourism London held the Philippine Tourism Weekend at Potters Field on 27-28 August 2016.

The two-day event, attended by more than 20, 000 people, showcased the best of the Philippine food, travel and culture.

Philippine Embassy Officials visit Muni Coffee in London

London, United Kingdom – Philippine Embassy officials visited Muni Coffee, situated in the high-end neighbourhood of Chelsea in London, on the 12th of August 2016. The visit, arranged by the Philippine Trade and Investment Centre London (PTIC London), included the Philippine Ambassador to the UK Evan Garcia, DOT London officials and the DTI-PTIC London team headed by Commercial Attaché and Head Kristine Umali.

Cafe treats: Muni Coffee serves European and Filipino desserts












Muni Coffee Co
. is an artisanal coffee shop in the heart of london. Located in 166 Fulham Road, they import and promote Philippine specialty coffee. It is c  o-founded by Jesica “Jena” (Filipina) and Julian (German) Krause. The married couple’s passion about coffee paired with Jena’s heritage led them to open their own coffee shop. This first of its kind cafe in London serves a fusion of Filipino-European food in their menu. They also pride themselves with their finest coffee – imported at a premium price all the way from the Philippines and roasted right here in North London. (more…)
