Non-executive Director of Quorn Foods and Monde Nissin Vijay Thakrar on what drives and boosts UK companies in the ASEAN region

“One of the big benefits of, again, partnering with Monde Nissin was that it’s headquartered in the Philippines, so it’s already in ASEAN. The 650 million people that are already there – rising middle class – that was an attractive proposition for us. And what we’ve done is that, since the partnership with Monde Nissin began, we started selling Quorn and indeed some of our other business products from elsewhere in the group in the Philippines. ”

Mr. Thakrar was one of the speakers during the ASEAN@50 Business Forum on 11 October 2017. Please find more videos from the event here.
