With barely a month to go and already, expectations are high for the return of Manila FAME, the Philippines’ premier lifestyle and design event, as it showcases the best of the country’s lifestyle and design scene.

Asia’s second-longest running trade event will showcase the best of Philippine designs and craftsmanship in a show built upon the intertwine of design and culture. For its 66th edition, Manila FAME promises an even bigger show with more exhibitors and special scenography featuring renowned creative directors like Tony Gonzales and Nelson Sepulveda.

DTI-CITEM targets $62M export sales in world’s biggest food fair

The export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to further expand the trade relationship between the Philippines and the European Union (EU) as it leads a delegation of food exporters in Anuga on October 7-11 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

The Center for International Trade and Expositions and Missions (CITEM) is set to feature the country’s export-competitive products from 19 food companies under the FoodPHILIPPINES industry brand.

DTI-CITEM steps up ‘Premium 7’ export drive in Anuga 2017

premium-7Coconut, banana, pineapple and mango are among the country’s ‘Premium 7’ export food commodities that wil be featured in Anuga 2017 on October 7-11 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

The Philippines’ finest tropical fruits and marine products will take center stage in the much-awaited Anuga, the world’s largest food fair, to be held on October 7-11 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

Led by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, the FoodPHILIPINES pavilion in Anuga will spotlight the country’s ‘Premium 7’ food export commodities, which includes coconut, pineapple, mango, banana, coffee, cacao and tuna—all in different varieties, cultivars, and packaging presentation.

Over 350 MSMEs to Showcase PH Design Culture at Manila FAME October 2017

image005Manila FAME, the country’s premier lifestyle and design event, is set to return bigger and better with more than 350 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in a showcase of Philippine design culture and ingenuity.

On October 20-22, the 66th edition of Manila FAME will present the best of home, lifestyle, and fashion products from the country’s top and emerging design talents at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Pasay City.

With more emphasis on the Philippines’ vibrant and multi-layered cultural heritage, the trade show will spotlight homegrown brands and craftsmen from regional groups and grassroots communities across the country.

“The crafts of a country are reflective of its culture. Today, we are at a crossroads between innovation and tradition, but it does not have to be one or the other,” said CITEM Executive Director Clayton Tugonon. “Through Manila FAME, we want to nurture the cultural identity of our exhibitors and encourage forward thinking as they develop new products.”
