PH Ambassador Garcia presents credentials to the Queen

London, United Kingdom – Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom Evan Garcia presented his Letters of Credence to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace on 12 October 2016.

The Ambassador, his wife Madame Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and their entourage – which included Commercial Attaché and Philippine Trade and Investment Centre London Head Anne Marie Kristine Umali – were collected from the Embassy by two state landaus from the Royal Mews. They were escorted to the Palace by the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps and they returned to the Embassy with the Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps.

After the royal audience, Ambassador Garcia hosted a traditional vin d’honneur at the Philippine Embassy at Suffolk Street in London.
