PTIC London in the International Festival of Business 2016

Liverpool, United Kingdom – The Philippine Trade and Investment Centre London (PTIC London) participated at the International Festival of Business 2016 under the ASEAN Festival of Business on the 22nd of June 2016. The event, which was spearheaded by the UK ASEAN Business Council, was held at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool – located in the north west of England.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was among the regions that were highlighted during the IFB to inform more companies in the UK about the ASEAN economic community. It is particularly relevant to UK SMEs, which have very limited or no knowledge of ASEAN and its member states.

A Philippine company was also in attendance to the event with Sun Asia Corporation/AmeriTech Global Solutions Inc. represented by its vice president, Antonio Tan Jr. Commercial Attache Anne Marie Kristine Umali of PTIC London introduced Mr Tan to the other attendees, which included UK companies and organizations, during the networking session for potential business-to-business matching opportunities.
